These photos will be converted into posters and displayed around town at area businesses during the Fall marching season, so don’t miss this opportunity! This is a Waxahachie tradition!

Band Fees Due

• Summer Band Fees are due at registration.  Fees may be paid by check, cash, or credit card (Visa, M/C, or Discover)

• See attached schedule of fees and costs associated with being in band.

Students will not be issued a uniform in August until all fees are paid.

If you have any questions regarding these fees please contact Rich Armstrong, 972-923-4600 ext 527, rlarm@wisd.org.

Volunteer Signup

All band parents are expected to work concessions for at least one football game. This may be either a Tuesday night game, at Wilemon,or a Thursday or Friday night game at Lumpkins.

• We cannot operate without your assistance.

• Volunteer signup forms will be available at this time.

Information will be available for all volunteer activities, including specific dates on when we will need concession stand workers and bus chaperones.

Band Forms

Information, Handbook, Medical Release, UIL 8 hour rule, and others forms must be completed during the registration process. It is extremely important that we have these forms on file to allow your students to participate throughout the year.

 Optional Accessories

Parents will also be given the opportunity to order optional tote and garment bags for their students as well as purchase yard signs, monogrammed band shirts, hats and blankets.

• Students in grades 8-11 should come during their assigned times to get fitted for the marching uniform.
• All returning students will move through the process much quicker because they already have a uniform.
• It is important that you plan enough time to take care of all of the steps in the process.
